What to pay attention to when using hot melt yarn

Whether you're knitting your first sweater, or knitting for a friend, you'll want to know what to pay attention to when using hot melt yarn. Hot melt yarn is a kind of adhesive that binds fibers together. It can replace a variety of different adhesives, including chemical adhesives, because it's non-toxic. And because it has a low melting point, it can avoid dusty pollution and volatiles.

There are four basic types of knitting fibers. These are plant fibers, animal fibers, synthetic fibers, and biosynthetic fibers. Plant fibers include cotton and linen. Animal fibers include wool, and biosynthetic fibers include rayon. Synthetic fibers include nylon and acrylic.

When using hot melt yarn, make sure it's not exposed to temperatures above its melting point. It's also important to use a gentle washing cycle for washing synthetic fibers. If you're steaming the final garment, use the lowest iron setting. And avoid exposure to sunlight or rain.

Nylon thermal fuse is a special nylon yarn that has good abrasion resistance, bonding and pasting properties, and is environmentally friendly. Nylon thermal fuse is also safe, and it's odorless.

In addition to its bonding and pasting capabilities, nylon thermal fuse also has a low melting point. It's often used to make a variety of fibers, including hot melt yarn. It has been used to produce yarn from recycled PET bottles. The process involves cleaning and sorting the bottles. The bottles are then bundled into large bales and taken to a recycling facility.
