1. Thermoplastic Binder Fibers

 

These are the ​primary functional materials​ that enable adhesion through heat activation. Common types include:

Low-Melt Polyester (PET):

Melting range: ​80°C–130°C

Features: Cost-effective, widely used in apparel and textiles.

Polyamide (PA or Nylon):

Melting range: ​110°C–160°C

Features: High strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU):

Melting range: ​90°C–150°C

Key Considerations
