150d-300d Hot Melt Yarn

150d-300d hot melt yarn is a hot meltable polymer used as a linear bonding material. When the temperature rises, it melts and sticks to the paper or plastic. Polyester hot melt yarn is most commonly used for wire binding. These yarns are usually placed in the last position of the folding machine before it is folded. The yarn is then ironed at the end using a reverse sequencer. The ironing unit will heat the polyester yarn through the electric heating element in the iron.

Polyester yarns are available in 150d, 200d and 300d counts. These thread counts are based on the thickness of polyester thread, which is thicker than nylon thread. Polyester yarns have the same weight per kilometer, which makes them stronger. However, the fibers of polyester yarn can be woven differently, or have different coatings. This will affect weight, water resistance and durability.

What is the difference between polyester thermal fuse and nylon thermal fuse? Nylon thermal fuses are made by spinning low-melting polyamides. Low melting polyamide is a modified polyester. The nylon hot-melt filament made of spinning low-melting polyamide has the advantages of low melting point, high thermal bonding strength and stable physical and chemical properties.

The performance characteristics of nylon hot fuse:

1. Low melting point. Nylon thermal fuses have melting points as low as 90°C.

2. Good wear resistance. Better abrasion resistance of polyamide fibers in all textiles
