55dt Fine denier nylon is also known as spunbond, and is used in industrial applications for packaging, medical sterile packaging, floppy disk liners, and high-performance envelopes. In 1997, Europe accounted for over 30 percent of the global fine denier spunbond market. Demand for spunbond has continued to grow in recent years, with the North American market projected to increase at a rate of six to seven percent a year through 2001.
This synthetic fiber is manufactured by combining two different types of yarn. The first yarn is ordinary nylon; the second is coated with a low-melting thermoplastic resin. The resin is a terpolymer of nylon 12, 6 and 66. The two are then bonded together by heat-bonding.
55dt Fine Denier Low Melting Point Nylon Hot Fuse is a modified low melting point chemical fiber filament. It has the performance of environmental protection, non-toxic, no peculiar smell, and has the function of bonding. By weaving or winding, the thermal fuse is skillfully placed at the part that needs to be bonded, and the adjacent materials are melted and bonded under the corresponding temperature (dry, wet) conditions.
