They have high thermal stability, high melting point, and good chemical resistance to many compounds, including many common solvents, plasticizers, and oils. Compared with other hot melt adhesives (such as EVA and polyolefin), it has higher creep resistance and better flame retardancy and thermal stability under load. Many grades have a thermal stability of up to 160°C.
